We have a serious avocado addiction! Everything tastes better with 🥑
If you think about it, how many possible trees we are wasting by tossing the wonderful seed in the trash, kinda sad, right?
All you have to do is giving the seed a really good rinse, poke some sticks in each side so it will hold slightly above a water line in a little cup.
The bottom flat part of the pit needs to sit in the water with the pointy end sticking up, always maintain the water line.
In a few weeks, roots and a stem will sprout from the seed. When the stem is about six inches long, trim it in half. When the stem leafs again, transplant the seedling to a pot or right into earth.
Not all avocado pits will grow!
